← Back to LunasGIDA Part 1 · For Physicians (web dashboard)

The LunasGIDA Hub

No installation — the dashboard is a website that runs in any modern browser on a desktop, laptop, or tablet. A camera and microphone are only needed for live video consults. Accounts are provisioned by the administrator; there is no public signup, by design.

The triage queue

After signing in, you land on the Triage Queue — patient encounters submitted by health workers in your municipality, newest first. Each card shows the patient, a vitals summary, and when it was captured in the field. The queue updates automatically as new encounters sync in from BHW phones.. Cases carry urgency badges so the ones needing attention first stand out, and the queue refreshes by itself — new encounters appear without reloading the page

Reviewing an encounter

Issuing a diagnosis and e-prescription

  1. Fill in the diagnostic assessment on the encounter page
  2. Add medications — name, dosage, frequency, duration
  3. Click Sign & issue e-Rx
  4. The signed evaluation syncs down automatically — the health worker sees your diagnosis and prescription the next time their phone touches any connectivity

Live video consult (Tier 2)

For urgent cases where the field connectivity allows: open the encounter, click Start live video, allow camera/microphone, and you join a private room for that encounter — the health worker joins from their phone with the patient at their side.

Part 2 · For Barangay Health Workers (Android app)

The field app

Requirements: an Android phone (Android 8+ recommended) with camera and GPS. No internet is needed for daily work — connectivity is used only when available, to sync.

Installing the beta app

  1. On the phone's browser, open lunasgida-hub.kanrauldevcorp.com/lunasgida-beta.apk (~146 MB)
  2. When the download finishes, tap the downloaded file
  3. If asked, allow "install unknown apps" for this install — direct installation is the beta distribution method; app-store distribution comes at scale-up
  4. Tap Install, then Open
First launch: connect to the internet once (Wi-Fi or data) so the app signs in and downloads your assigned patients. After this one-time step, the app is fully functional offline.
Updating the app: the beta does not update itself. When a new version is announced, open the same download link again and install over the top — your saved patients and encounters stay on the phone. You do not need to uninstall first, and nothing waiting to sync is lost.

Registering a patient

  1. Tap New patient and enter the patient's details
  2. Consent: record how the patient consented (verbal / thumbmark / written) — required under the Data Privacy Act
  3. Save — the patient appears in your list immediately, even with zero signal

Capturing an encounter — works fully offline

  1. Tap a patient to open the encounter form. The banner shows your current tier: 🟠 Tier 1 — store-and-forward (weak/no signal; everything saved for later sync) or 🟢 Tier 2 — live consult available
  2. Enter vitals, then symptoms and observations
  3. Photo: capture a clinical photo — the app automatically compresses it to under 250 KB and strips private metadata
  4. GPS: tap to geotag the encounter location
  5. Tap Save encounter (offline-safe) — the record is stored on the phone instantly; nothing is ever lost to a dead spot

The sync indicator

IndicatorMeaning
🟠 OfflineNo connectivity; captures are queued (the number badge shows pending records)
🔵 SyncingConnectivity returned; records and photos are uploading
🟢 SyncedEverything is on the server; physicians can see it

Sync is fully automatic — walk into signal range and the queue drains itself. Photos survive even if the phone restarts while offline.

Receiving the physician's response

Open any encounter to check its status. Once reviewed, the Physician evaluation section shows the diagnosis and e-prescription, synced down automatically and read-only. Encounters not yet reviewed show "Awaiting physician review" — normal if you have been offline, since the physician can only see synced encounters.

If you cannot sign in

Password reset by email does not work in the beta. The beta runs without a live mail server, so a reset request will never arrive — no matter how long you wait, and it is not in your spam folder. Email admin@kanrauldevcorp.com and the administrator will reset it for you directly.

Live video consult (Tier 2)

When the tier banner is green and a case is urgent, tap Start live consult — you and the physician join a private video room for that encounter, and you assist the patient during the call. If the button is greyed out, the signal is too weak for video: capture normally, and the physician responds asynchronously. That's the design, not a failure.
